Below deck on the Hull Yeah, MASTICATE holds court over Freddie Sutton. The arguments are practical, clinical even, except for one voice that sounds a little too eager and one that can't quite hide the dread of what's coming. No one can deny the cold logic of what needs to happen next. On deck, something catches Matthew's attention; a scent that he's come to savor, along with its promise of violent indulgence. Back on land, an envelope arrives through channels that don't officially exist. Inside is an offer…or maybe a trap. One phone call could smooth everything over, put all the misunderstandings to rest.
